Funds to support independent research projects are available to Echols Scholars through Ingrassia Family Research Grants. These grants are meant to support Echols Scholars in their third and fourth years conducting independent or faculty directed research and related activities. Projects should be tied to either participation in a Distinguished Majors program or part of a capstone project. The upcoming deadlines for application are February 21, 2018 (for summer projects with international components), March 15, 2018 (summer projects without international travel), and May 15, 2018 (for fall semester projects).
