Title: " Curing Coma: Is it possible to “wake” patients who succumb to coma?"

Short description:

People with severe brain injuries can fall into a coma that can lead to life-long unconsciousness.  Families of patients in coma in the ICU, usually ask the same question “Will my loved one wake up?” Current medical science only allows the answers, “we aren’t sure” and “only time will tell.” But what if we could wake up the comatose.   What does that mean for the patient, their families, our society?  Our technology is getting closer to finding solutions for Coma. We will discuss the science, the technology and the ethical issues associated with “curing coma”.
